that's crazy about the plumbing thru the fireplace! our house has crazy electrical work done on it. we have one breaker that has almost everything on it - kitchen stuff and living room stuff. they should have been separated but they weren't so we blow a breaker every so often. so annoying. the only solution is to re-wire which we aren't ready to do.
