Abilene, here we come!!

JOSH GOT THE JOB AT ACU!!!!
We just got the call this morning, and yes, we are very excited! Thank you, God, for answering our prayers and thanks to all our friends and family who have been praying with us. Your support has been overwhelming. Things have truly come full circle, and we're happy to make a new beginning in the town where we met and began our relationship together. God is so good!
We'll be in WA for the summer and get to TX at the end of July sometime. So y'all make plans to come down and see us, ya hear?!?

Graduation/Mother's Day weekend

I'm back in WA now and we survived graduation weekend! Mom, Titus and I arrived last Tuesday; Josh arrived Wednesday; and Josh's parents arrived Thursday. Saturday was graduation followed by a big BBQ at our house. Everything went really well and we're settling back into a routine. I'll post pictures soon.
Happy belated Mother's Day to all of you moms out there! Josh and I are so thankful for our Moms and feel very blessed to have them in our lives.

Ok, it's not official yet, but it's close enough for me. Josh turned in his dissertation yesterday and is done with school! He is still crazy busy with a bunch of other academic projects, but none of them are required for graduation. We are all so proud of you, Josh!

ACU, here he comes! WA, here I come!

Looks like Josh will have an interview at ACU the first week of May! I was hoping to join him, but instead I will be making the long drive back to WA so I can be there for graduation. Please pray for a great interview process for Josh and a safe trip to WA for us (Mom, Titus and myself).

Titus freak out caught on tape

Something that makes me laugh really hard is what I call "Titus freak out moments." Very few people know about this crazy side of Titus, and even fewer people have witnessed it. In these very rare moments, Titus notices something very small and becomes fixated on it. He will not leave it alone until he has taken care of it or we somehow get him to stop the obsession. Sometimes the small thing is something that has been there for years, like a scratch on a bookcase.

Today while we were playing ball, Titus noticed a very small piece of dirt on the side of the house. He quickly went into freak out mode, and I quickly ran inside to get the camera. Prior to this video, Titus was sniffing the dirt and then jumping back as if it had bit him in the nose. He was also pawing at it and nearly started barking at it. Then came this:
