I also made my mom a rag quilt for Christmas. Mom was the recipient of my first rag quilt several years ago when I was just experimenting with them. I thought she needed a newer version. Of course she was my guinea pig again because this was my first rag quilt that I did with stripes instead of blocks. I think it turned out pretty cute. Plus there were fewer seams to sew and snip, so it went a little faster.
