It's December!

I just can't believe it's already December.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in NM full of yummy food, lots of shopping, football, family and friends.  Somehow I didn't manage to take any pictures :(  Now we're in our last week of classes and finals are next week.  Our first semester at ACU has been crazy and stressful but great at the same time.
Now it feels like the holidays are in full swing.  We have holiday events planned for the next 4 days while I'm still trying to find time to decorate our home.  We are hosting Christmas at our house for the first time this year (since we finally have a house big enough!)  I'm so excited!  We have space for a decent size tree and a real mantle and fireplace to hang stockings from!  I promise I'll post some pictures next week- don't give up on me!

I can't wait until you post your Christmas pictures- I like seeing how you are making your house a home! I too cannot believe it's December!! We've only had 1 decent size snowfall here so far, maybe we'll have a nice, light winter. What's your temperatures like? 70s? 80s?

That sounds like fun! What are ya'll's (a word with two apostrophes!) vacations like? Does Josh get the full two or three weeks off like the students do, or does he have to work extra in there? Or does he just have work to do and ends up working extra in there? What about you? And,come to think of it, do you guys get summers off? I think that school schedules are the best!

Shelly, we've been in the 30s and 40s this week! Texans are so wimpy and think it's way too cold. Don't worry, the 50s and 60s are returning by the weekend.
Alyson, for xmas break Josh gets a month "off". I get at least 11 days off, maybe more. Josh has all summer "off" and my schedule will be pretty flexible I think. What "off" really means is that there aren't classes but there is finally time for research and preparing lectures for the next semester.
