Latest projects

Some of you probably don't know that I like to sew. Mom taught me to sew when I was pretty small, and I even had my own little sewing machine so I could be just like Mommy. I try to keep my projects very simple. Over the years I've made curtains, dresses, skirts, pajamas, and other various things. A few years ago, I decided to try my hand at quilting- rag quilting that is. Nothing fancy, just flannel stitched together and frayed at the edges. In the last month, I've made 3 baby rag quilts but didn't want to post pictures until all the expecting parents had their quilts. So here are my latest projects...
For baby girl Fitzpatrick (front and back)
Bubbles and stripes theme
For nephew Benjamin (front and back)
Jungle animal theme
For nephew Jackson (front and back)
Teddy bear sports theme

I can't wait for all these babies to get here!! We have many other friends and family expecting in the next few months and several that have had their babies in the last couple months- you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Those are totally cute! We got a rag quilt for a wedding gift with flannel on one side and denim on the other and it's one of our favorite blankets. Way to go you!
